This is not only in forms of developing networks through intra and inter socio-cultural ties, but also improved transformative initiatives that contribute to improving and possibly, changing the lives of ndi-Igbo, to enable them contribute to valuable developments in their host communities as public spirited and positive-minded people.

Mission
Our Commitment
ONSA rallies, inspires and raises awareness in our community on the significance of their contributions to peace and development. In consequence, we bridge the gap between our community and the government. Our model provides the enabling environment for genuine socio-economic development of our members and wider communities.
We also focus on a cohesive and peaceful coexistence created from sustainable societies, here in our host country and our native land. This entails working with the private and public sectors to meet our set goals of human development and aspirations.
Our sister organisation, partners, affiliates and associates continue to transform positively into high-performance organisations. The widening of social safety nets through welfare programmes; our financial performance transforms to the nurturing and development of the cultural heritage of Ndi Igbo.
Our contribution is an extended solution assisting affiliates and partnering organizations. Firstly, in selecting the target group for the right business relationship and consequently in the development of a sustainable cultural trajectory of new and existing targets. Secondly, our contribution is anchored on two pillars: mobilization and safety-net efforts.
ONSA MOBILISATION EFFORTS
ONSA mobilization drive identifies and establishes a factual basis for a wider spectrum of socio-economic sectors in Nigeria and sub-Saharan Africa. We prepare as well as invite ideas in the following categories:
Commissioned local content.
Business and media presentation.
Lobbying and legislation.
Social service advocacy, among others.
ONSA SAFETY-NET EFFORTS
We believe in the efficacy of partnering in win-win synergies, wherein we represent the interests of all Igbo communities within South Africa while our partners focus on what they do best, thereby creating long-term symbiotic relationships to foster growth in the end.

Rags to Riches Initiative
The Rags to Riches initiative represents the cultural benefit of hard work and creativity.
The most popular Ndi Igbo staple undergoes various processes to provide a stand-alone/unique taste and nourishment. These meals with exceptional nutritional quality attest to the cultural price paid by sidestepping the traditional cornerstone of Ndi Igbo staples. Aside from the spiritual disconnect from authority through the gaze of the Western industrial food system. The Rags-to-Riches competition showcases our cultural identity and sovereignty, where informally trained chefs strictly use natural and indigenous ingredients without external aids. The adjudged best cuisine wins a life-changing prize.
Igbo house initiative
IGBO HOUSE, South Africa – embodies the dream and aspiration of Ndi-Igbo's cultural renewal and promotion.
